How are Aecom using Risk Assessor? The tool is being used in main business lines include Environmental and Ground Engineering, Engineering, Transportation and Infrastructure, Power, industrial and Chemicals, Government, and Construction Services. The region employs about 8,000 employees. 


Why did Aecom decide to invest specifically? The risk assessment and auditing tools are effective and easy to use. Being able to use the tool for specific Task Hazard Assessments make it very cost effective as an online tool. 


How long did it take to research other competing products? The tool is the culmination of a 2 year search to find the right tool for the business. It was selected over several in house tools that were being considered for development. 


What were the results of the trial period? The users find the tool easy to use and effective in the management of on-site identified risks and appreciate the library of discrete assessments that can be maintained. The reduction in produced paper assessments is more efficient in managing project records. 


What’s the impression of the Safety Apps Team? The Safety apps team have been very easy to work with and have been able to provide reliable expert advice and flexible solutions that are needed in a very diverse business. The professionalism of the SA staff has been excellent and very helpful.
